Hey you!
My name is Lucy May Singletary
19 years ago I was born in Nashville, Tennessee, but I call myself a Texan. I was raised in Austin, but I now find myself growing up in College Station where I am a student at Texas A&M. Day to day I study Communications, but the real dream is to one day work for a global outreach non-profit with aspirations of helping resource and community development in third world countries.
This summer I have the opportunity to intern with a organization called Surfing The Nations in Wahiawa, Hawaii. Over the course of three months I will be learning about non-profit leadership, participating in local island outreach and traveling to Fiji for global community outreach.
In effort to create a space to share my adventures, here I will be posting updates, photos and testimonies from my travels.
